The Offshore Extreme surf school is situated on Newquays peninsula in Pentire 2mins from the famous Fistral beach, Englands surfing capital.

Its idyllic location ensures more time in the water surfing and getting a taste of the surfing/beach lifestyle. Offshore extreme is a surf school with a difference, Llewellyn Whittaker and girlfriend Jolene have taken over the running of the Offshore extreme school.

Llewellyn is national British junior team coach, BSA level three qualified and qualified beach life guard. A fully trained and qualified paramedic, with over 18yrs of surfing and water experience. He is currently rated 3rd in the country, including six years on the WQS(world qualifying series) where he was rated top 100.

Offshore surf school can offer a wide range of surfing holidays, tailor made to suit all abilities whilst enjoying this thrilling and addictive sport.

The Hotel...

The Offshore Hotel is situated overlooking Fistral Beach. It commands breathtaking views over Newquay’s famous bay. Offshore, with years of experience, has chosen its position just minutes away from Fistral beach so that our guests can enjoy flexible surf school start times and easy access to the waves.

We are also only 10 minutes away from the centre of town but for those who wish to save their legs for water sports, we can offer free transport to the many fantastic bars and nightclubs that Newquay has to offer.

At the Offshore Hotel, everyone receives a warm welcome by our friendly staff, from singles to large parties; our main concern is that you have a great time.

All of the hotel rooms have sea views and are en-suite with Tea/Coffee-making facilities and TV’s. We also offer hotel dormitory-style rooms. Prices start at £20ppn. We have our own licensed bar where you can shoot some pool or relax, and we have a large private garden and decking at the rear for those who like to sunbathe without getting sand between their toes!
